I don’t think inside the box, and I don’t think outside the box…..as a matter of fact I don’t know where the box is! I am blessed with a funny gene that makes me live and enjoy life to the fullest and I love to create marriage ceremonies where my ultimate focus is on ensuring you have the most wonderful and personalised experience on your special day. If your wedding date is locked in, email me to find out if I’m available. But if you’re still planning things out feel free to ask about available dates or days in certain months. This might be easier on the phone.

With the right celebrant, it’s pretty straightforward. It goes a little something like this…

Call or email me. I’ll ask a few questions, and then we’ll book our first meeting.This can be done in person or virtually. At this meeting we will walk through your ceremony and discuss your wedding plans. We will also discuss the legal requirements to ensure your marriage is legally binding.
Creative brainstorm & Legal Checklist
We’ll meet via Zoom or F2F and start creating a kick-ass ceremony. Got questions? Fire away. I will provide you with a full overview of your ceremony options. This includes the legal and optional inclusions, some examples of readings and poems, structure, the asking and vows. We also go through wedding legalities and I’ll guide you through the Notice of Intended Marriage.
I write your story
I will write your ceremony script and provide a draft for your approval. We will work together to create a personalised ceremony unique to you and your partner. We can continue to revise this draft until you are happy with the script. You can have as much or as little input as you like.
Practice makes perfect Feeling nervous? Don’t be. If you choose I can conduct a rehearsal the week before your wedding. The rehearsal provides an opportunity to finalise the details of the ceremony and review the legal paperwork.
Get hitched It’s the big day! I’ll arrive at the venue 60 mins before start time. I’ll set up and touch base with everyone before it’s time to roll.
Make it legit
You, your partner, your two witnesses and myself sign the legal paperwork. After your wedding, I will lodge the legal documents with the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages in the state your wedding takes place.
Prove it
Planning on changing your name or need proof of marriage? I’ll apply for your Official Marriage Certificate from Births, Deaths & Marriages.
